倪匡捕捉觀眾明辨是非的心理，編寫成這部江湖恩怨片。鳳飛飛(何莉莉飾)為報姊仇，發現兇手竟為未來夫婿金連白(南宮勳飾)，不知所措。而殺姊夫之兇手蕭豹(翟諾飾)與梁霸(王俠飾)為除後患，與金夫人(林靜飾)聯手對付飛飛，欲滅絕鳳家。飛飛怒不可遏，合父母之力將惡賊擊斃。片中武打明星陣容鼎盛，配合「十二金釵」何莉莉，倍添色彩。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
