顾小影（李念饰）出生在小康之家，从小到大都是集万千宠爱于一身的独身女，从来没有受过什么生活的委屈。后来，顾小影爱上了农村出身的机关干部管桐（李东学饰），虽然两人的身份差异和成长环境都相去甚远，但爱情还是让他们义无反顾的走到了一起。 结婚后，甜蜜的日子只持续了非常短暂的一段时间，很快，顾小影就发现，无论是生活习惯还是兴趣爱好上，她和丈夫都有着无法磨合的矛盾，再加上管桐的父母总是喜欢插手小两口的婚姻生活，随着时间的渐渐推移，顾小影和管桐之间的感情产生了裂缝。与此同时，顾小影的前男友亦再度出现在了她的生活里。。讲述大清兴国太后孝庄文皇后传奇一生。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
