事业并不如意的电台播音员程之敬，在下班回家后发现妻子手机里的陌生男人短信，于是他开始调查妻子是否有外遇，两人婚姻关系的种种矛盾也渐露水面。终于到了妻子与陌生男人约会的那一天，程之敬和妻子将事情摊牌...彼此意识到自己在婚姻中所存在的问题，两人准备去办理离婚手续之前，终于有了最后一次敞开心扉的谈话。。高中少女间宫雪绘（三浦由衣 饰）戏弄胆小的同班同学菊川夕子（韓英恵 饰），令对方受到巨大惊吓。在此之后，菊川缺席课程，雪绘等人也开始梦到幽怨的菊川。更为恐怖的是，她们接连死于噩梦之中。绝望至极的雪绘只得求助有“恶梦侦探”之称的影沼京一（松田龍平 饰）。 此时的京一正受到童年的噩梦所困扰。童年的他能够看到夜行的幽灵和他人的心事，他的母亲逸子（市川実和子 饰）对儿子逐渐心生恐惧，最终精神崩溃，自我了结生命。时常为他人驱逐噩梦的京一，此刻终于要面对深藏自己心底的恐惧和往事……。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
