故事中位于罗马市区的人气餐厅“熊的小屋”，由于老板娘的个人美学使然，员工们全是戴著老花眼镜的绅士，由于温文儒雅的绅士们带著幽默的谈吐，连带也吸引了一批发中此道的熟女老饕上门。而误闯熟女乐园的年轻女孩「妮可」，在眼镜绅士的呵护围下，似乎即将展开一段恋曲。。香澄（原田知世 饰）离了婚，独自抚养着正在上高中的儿子，日子过得十分辛苦。香澄在一间洗衣店中工作，这间洗衣店面向的客户，都是有着一定社会地位和声望的上层人士。某日，香澄邂逅了一位名叫小泽勇凛（斋藤工 饰）的男子，此人是一位正当红的话题性设计师。 让香澄没有想到的是，和自己八竿子打不到一起去的勇凛竟然对自己格外感兴趣，因此对这位个性古怪的男人充满了戒心。可随着时间的推移，勇凛单纯善良的一面渐渐显露，香澄在不知不觉中被其吸引。然而，勇凛的生活十分混乱，他和香澄的客户，大型企业社长的夫人白井真帆（山口纱弥加 饰）有着不伦的恋情。。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized".
