何秀（苏岩 饰）是一个单纯善良的姑娘，她只身一人前往上海，去那里投奔男友西康（源唯杰 饰）。在途中，何秀意外结识了简氏公司的董事长简波（唐治平 饰），两人不打不相识。让何秀没有想到的是，在上海的西康早就有了新欢，对方是出生于豪门的千金大小姐，羞愤之中，何秀决定了结自己年轻的生命。 意外并没有夺走何秀的生命，而是让她陷入了昏迷。在她昏睡不醒的这些日子里，是简波不离不弃的陪伴和照顾着她，但何秀对这一切并不知情。醒来后的何秀因为压力而变成了光头，为了能够不影响到自己的工作，她决定隐瞒女儿身，女扮男装进入职场奋斗。。Simone inherits a dilapidated farmhouse in France and makes her way there with her husband Eric and their two children.
