《新西游记》的节目模式为游戏通关模式，游戏设定参考日本漫画《七龙珠》。四名成员需完成各种任务，收集齐七颗龙珠，召唤出神龙，实现最终的愿望。。故事讲述被软禁在家中的预备大选竞选人和秘密监视邻居的一举一动的国家秘密情报要员，以及隔着一道墙的两个极端职业男子之间可疑而又隐秘的交易。。Michael Keegan-Dolan is one of the most remarkable choreographers working in dance and theatre today.
