I Saw the Sun (Güneşi Gördüm) is a Turkish film by Mahsun Kırmızıgül. In the film two brothers go on opposite sides in a Turkish-Kurdish conflict| it opened at the number one position at the Turkish box office in 2009. The film was announced as the Turkish submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in September 2009.。旅回りの劇団に所属する中学生の裕貴は、公演に合わせて一ヵ月ごとに転校を繰り返す生活。いつもの転校初日、友だちはいらないと宣言するが不登校の建と出会い、その心は揺らぎ始める…。。
