该剧以朝鲜时代为背景，讲述青孀寡妇郑顺德（赵怡贤饰）和青孀驸马沈炡㥥（路云饰）在各自遭遇重大变故后，两人相遇并且人生开始产生交集之后发生的故事。。本片是同一故事第三度重拍的版本。此片将好莱坞的背景改成今日的摇滚乐坛，男主角原是着名的摇滚乐歌手，而女主角则在小型夜总会卖艺。影片中有不少热门插曲，部分片段的镜头和表演都不俗，但整体则显得有点矫揉造作，角色欠缺真正的生命感，不过娱乐性还是维持相当水准。本片曾获奥斯卡最佳电影插曲金像奖。。Forged in Fire is an American reality television competition series that airs on the History channel, and is produced by Outpost Entert ainment, a Leftfield Entertainment company.
